Sydney Wildlife World Overview
Sydney Wildlife World is another one of those Sydney attractions that should not be missed and is a fantastic day out for all. At Sydney Wildlife World you have an opportunity to see the fantastic diversity of Australia’s Flora and Fauna (plants and animals) all in the heart of Darling Harbour. It is a living, breathing attraction where you have a rare opportunity to explore an ever changing environment with births, new arrivals and much more happening all the time.
The complex of Sydney Wildlife World is spread over 7,000 metres square, has around 1km of walkway space and has 3 floors of exhibits. The design of the building is very special with the upper levels open to the elements and shielded only by a mesh roof which means that displays such as the fantastic Rainforest Canopy are visible from outside of the building.
Sydney Wildlife World is open daily from 9am – 6pm and is fully wheel chair accessible. There are over 65 exhibits and more than 100 different Australian species; you are guaranteed an exciting no matter what time of day you decide to visit. It is recommended that you plan at least one and half hours for your visit.

A great day out and it's not just for kids!
Steve Cox from SydneyMy wife and I visited Sydney Wildlife Word on a chilly weekend when the thought of doing something inside was very appealing. The entrance fee may seem a little on the pricey side, but we certainly found it to be well worth it. I would suggest allowing several hours to explore Wildlife World to its fullest. There are lots of exciting live exhibits for you to look at and for those that want it you can find interesting educational information everywhere as your work your way around. What is brilliant was that there was lots of interaction so that you keep interested and excited as you go around. This is definitely a great day out for anyone, not just for the kids!
